After months of fighting, Andrew Bryan Lillywhite, 3 1/2 months, returned to his Father in Heaven while in the loving arms of his parents on Friday, Oct. 19 at 11:28 a.m. in Albuquerque. Surrounded by family, this beloved child left our world of pain and is now an angel at peace, watching over his family and awaiting the day when they will be reunited as a forever family in heaven.
Andrew was born on July 1, 2012, at 8:04 a.m. weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 19 in. long. He had blue eyes and beautiful blonde hair. He had a sweet smile and personality. He loved to be cuddled and held by his family. Andrew's journey on earth was short but he made an impact on countless lives all over the world.
Survivors include his parents, Savannah and Brett Lillywhite and big brother, Ethan of Farmington. Maternal great-grandparents, Rebecca Burgamy, of Austin, Texas; Joseph and Helen Oliver of Sweetwater, Texas, and William Burton of Magnolia, Texas; Grandparents, Bryan and Sheila Burton; uncle, Stephen Burton; aunt and uncle, Scarlett and Wyatt Snider of Beaumont, Texas. He is preceded in death by uncle, Nicholas Burton.
Paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Cassady of El Paso, Texas and Analou Lillywhite of St.George, Utah. Grandparents, Ross and Lerlyn Lillywhite of Farmington. Aunts and uncles, Kirt and Emily Lillywhite of Provo, Utah; Jon and Michelle Lillywhite of Farmington; Kara and Ben Gonzales of Phoenix, Ariz. and Janae Lillywhite of Farmington. And several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
Andrew's family would like to thank all of the hospital staff, who guided and comforted them through their journey. A special thank you to the countless friends and family for the many prayers, kind words and acts of service that were given to them.
A gathering of Andrew's family and friends will be held at the Brewer Lee and Larkin funeral home, 103 East Ute St. Farmington, on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m.
A celebration of Andrew's life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 4400 College Blvd. Farmington, on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m.
Andrew's graveside service and burial will be held at the Rosedale Cemetery, 505 Old Beaumont Road, Sour Lake, Texas, on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2:30 p.m.
