Ada Pearl Woodall was born on February 22, 1925. She was one of ten children born to Francena and Charles Hixon in Buck County, Pennsylvania. Her mother died when she was 12 and she quickly assumed many of the responsibilities of raising a large family. She attended Fulton County Schools in Pennsylvania where she graduated from Warfordsburg High School. After graduation, like many young women during World War II, she soon became involved in the war effort working in an aircraft factory. It was during this time that she met a soldier William "Woody" Woodall and they were married on January 10, 1944 - a marriage that would last 64 years until Woody's death in 2008.
Following Woody's discharge, he entered the construction industry which would take them many places and eventually landed them in Farmington in 1951. In 1966 they located to the Bloomfield area where they spent their remaining years. They were the parents of four children, William E. Jr "Bill", Charles, David and Vicki. Ada was a homemaker and very involved with her children over the years serving as a girl scout leader, 4-H leader and Sunday school teacher. She was very active in the First Christian Church which would later become the Sunrise Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and participating in extension club where she had many dear friends.
Ada was preceded in death by her husband Woody, son Charles, six brothers and a sister.
She is survived by three children: Vicki Lobato and husband Alex of Bloomfield , David Woodall and wife Julie of Benson, AZ and Bill Woodall and wife Denise of Farmington, and two brothers: Allen and Julia Hixon of Pennsylvania, and Charles and Ruth Hixon of New York.
